Drapo are flags made of woven material and embellished with sequins, glass beads and bright colors, and the images usually pertain to spirits or Lwa. Drapos originated from Western flags and military flags. This is also depicts veve which is significant to the spiritual aspect of Drapos. The veve are symbols of the deity or spirits designed to embody the spirits or Lwa and Each color represents some significance pertaining to other African cultures. This particular Drapo incorporates multiple symbols representing multiple lwa.
